We're proud to announce that we made the new Hired Hand website for Twin Creeks Ranch live while at the Longhorn Extravaganza last weekend.
Twin Creeks Ranch is a privately-owned ranch in the heart of the Sam Houston National Forest. Purchased as timber property in 2001, Twin Creeks Ranch has evolved and diversified into a family ranch. Wildlife is a priority for us.
In addition to trees, donkeys and other wildlife, they have a growing herd of registered Texas Longhorn cattle. Together with their Ranch Manager, Wade Martinez, they purchased an initial herd of Texas Longhorns, which has already doubled and continues to grow.
Their goal is to blend the proven genetics of some of the most famous Texas Longhorns with new, up-and-coming sires and dams with an emphasis on raising Texas Longhorn cattle gentle enough to hand feed and pet, with lots of color and of course, long horns. They are hopeful the result will be a fantastic herd of cattle that they can share and enjoy in the show pens as well as their pasture.
