"In 2014 we we’re getting gout of horses and looking for cattle to fill our pasture. I’ve always had a love for horned cattle and when it came across 4 registered Texas Longhorns with several other Corriente, I jumped at the chance to bring them home. Since, we have sold the Corriente and have built a herd we are really proud of!
Our farm had been left to grow for years, Justin had always wanted to buy it. We had been all over it on horse back and I fell in love with it. Every year we would call the elderly lady who owned it, the farm had been in her family and handed down through several generations, she would always say that it wasn’t for sale, but to call her the next year. In 2011 Justin gave her a call, she told us she had been waiting on the call and she felt like it was time for us to buy it. Since then we have been working to clean it up. Little by little we have turned these 180 acres into our paradise."
