"One of our milestones has been to create a ranch with a homestead on our 160 acres. Robert did a lot of research on types of cattle to raise, and ultimately, he was contemplating two basic breeds: Corriente or Texas Longhorns. We chose Texas Longhorns because they “look cooler” as Robert would say. And as newbies, we launched ourselves into the Longhorn world. Neither Robert nor I had ever lived on a farm or homestead. We are proud stewards of this special breed of cattle and our homestead in the making!"
